Turns out blogging is fun (well duh)

Natural Window

What an epiphany right? Seriously. I used to have another blog that I posted my reviews to and it was more or less just that. Pretty dead save for a few times when an author would drop by to comment on a review of their work. Since starting with wordpress I have met some of the most amazing people, and in case I haven’t told you guys all lately, you make it worth doing this every day. Funny, because before I only thought of myself when I selected a book to read, and now I think “Hmm, so and so would like this book” and it always brings a smile to my face.

I look forward to reading your comments, reading your blogs and enjoying the interaction. Every morning when i get up and check my email I am thrilled to see what you have all come up with next. So–Thank you–all of you, for everything you do.

Also, I would like to mention that Green Embers is still happily accepting new members for his Rome construction crew, you can find out more here: RCC

and one final thing, everyone should go bug Charles over at Legends of Windemere at tell him to have a very happy birthday (April 9th) and offer him some congrats for his 2000th book sale!

Off to go for a bike ride and work off last night’s cheesecake. You guys are awesome:)

  1. And thanks for being here too! Love reading your reviews… and your more random posts 😉

I’ve been sending Charles a few e-hugs recently – he deserves a great birthday.

    Happy cheese-cake-biking…

  2. I started blogging just for myself. Then I started reading blogs. Turns out I enjoy both. And it is exciting to see that other people actually read my boring blog. It inspires me to try and be a little less boring 🙂

    1. You are not boring! I like it there, and I like it because every time I go there I feel like I’m visiting an old friend. It’s cozy and enjoyable.

  3. Turtle cheesecake is the BEST! I throw a hissy fit every time I’m at Old Chicago and make the poor server tell me that, no, they still haven’t brought back their turtle cheesecake (why they took it off the menu I will never know!) and then try to tempt me with the big cookie instead.

    1. Cookie shmookie. I can’t help it, I love cheesecake more than I love my size 2 pants. Oh well, I’m getting old, that is my excuse. I’m just going to add fat to my list as well 🙂
