Okay, so now that I have your attention…
There is this really great book floating around cyberspace called
Yesterday Road
I am the first to admit that I have not read it yet, but I am working on getting there. I have heard nothing but good things about this book–and that is highly unusual in and of itself. This to me means that the author either threatened a lot of people or that he is a damn good author. We are going to assume that Mr. Kevin Brennan is the Latter variety and not the former.
So here is what I am saying. Go buy the book if you have not done so already. Really, don’t wait for everyone else to do it. Treat this like a Black Friday Sale and beat the poor schmuck next to you senseless if they try to steal your copy.
Also, tell people. Compose a Tweet, retweet this post. Go visit the author’s blog and give him some love. Be sure to tell him I sent you so that I can get him to buy me a drink in the future. Do’s whatcha gots to do’s.

Yep, those ones. Go push ’em. They are all sparkly and shit and every time you push one you save a rare breed of fairy in the deforested area of the Amazon. Not really, but just do it and feel good about promoting a great book. You won’t be sorry, I promise.
Go on…go get yourself an awesome book.
(*This guy is going to be a mega author one day and he will not forget that you helped him. Even if he isn’t and he becomes a bum that lives under a bridge he still won’t forget you, so what can it hurt?)

I am as well. I have heard such good things. I wonder if the author is nervous now that we are putting him on the spot? 😉

From what I have read about the book he has nothing to be nervous about, but a few nerves are often good. They heighten the senses and build anticipation.

I think he should be very happy with the attention. I really liked this. I bought the book, but have a “behind in my reading” problem (Not like yours though my queen.)

I have read this book – it was really a very good book. I enjoyed it immensely and wrote a review on Goodreads (maybe on my blog too, can’t remember). But seriously, READ this book – it goes quickly and is just a well written good story,

A popular book by a popular author and one of our own, Kevin Brennan. You must get this book! Ionia says so, and you cannot dispute the Queen of Books, now, can you? I would not dare.
